Without understanding the nature of conscious experience, everything we think we know to be true remains contingent on so many unspoken assumptions — even though that understanding may have practical uses for a time.
Humans studied consciousness for thousands of years. Too bad neuroscientists don’t take the time to learn what is already known about their most fundamental lab ‘apparatus’.
I applaud your insight into the very necessary study of mind (the Fire) rather than excluding it to focus solely upon biological activity (the Smoke).
