Life Abounding In Synchronicities

Synchronicities Are Often Dismissed As Mere Coincidences; But Not All Synchronicities Are Simple Pairs Of Events

Synchronicities are often dismissed as mere coincidences; but I find it impossible to ignore synchronicities that occur between events that are years apart, as I have had in my life. The most interesting events for me have been episodes in which I have had an overpowering feeling that some person, place, or event would play a significant part in my life, which later comes true exactly as I originally felt it would. Some dreams, in particular, come to mind.

For example, in high school I had repeated dreams of a woman who I loved very much. It was always in the same setting and was just a short vignette permeated with love for this woman. She seemed older than me, was definitely a hippy, and she was wearing a blue and white plaid shirt. It was 1973. In 2009, I met her, wearing the exact shirt from my dream, sporting the exact hairstyle and color, and appearing to be around the same age as in my dream. She was dressed just like a 70s hippy. She explained it was her personal style.

I had several dreams of that sort, one of which was about how I die. In it, I am living in a long wooden house, like a railroad car, with a door at one end with wooden steps, and a small bedroom at the other. The woman that I am living with has fallen deathly ill from something she ate, and she is not getting better. It is snowing heavily, and…
