Just a small suggestion: “science” once upon a time meant knowledge. “Science” would be a more considerate way to designate the practice of the scientific method. Confusing the two together, as is done today, gives scientists hegemony over all human knowledge, much the way corporations patent trees, plants, even particular human genomes, as if the corporation created them. Indigenous wisdom may have discovered the usefulness of a tree’s parts, but when a corporation comes along and patents the tree because its scientist have pinpointed why the tree has its useful qualities, the indigenous source of the knowledge looses out to the technologic practice of scientists, leaving those who are proud of their indigenous wisdom to shout at the nescience (that still just means ignorance) of scientists who are oblivious to their insensitivity.
