Hi Graham, both of those two alternatives are based in time. For me, and others, there is no time as such, it is little more than a formalism used by scientists to make their formulas work. That suggestion is actually from Carlo Rovelli and his theory of Loop Quantum Gravity. My own, which I mention somewhere within volume 1 of Tranquillity's Secret, is that what we think of as 'time' is like a pool of water, with ripples created by events. Sometimes the ripples are strong and reverberate across the pool's surface. This article is the first time -- I think -- that I have used the term synchronicity. That did start with Jung, as you point out, but has been gaining a wider meaning by scientists who are studying the phenomena. This article was in fact a piece I wrote at the invitation of a group of scientists who are doing a book on the subject. Alas, they couldn't handle my worldview, which I had told them would be the case.

It's good to hear from you. I hope your book project is going well.
