Hi Don, it's good to hear from you. I have no knowledge of Gebser, and can't find anything on him in any of the online philosophy encyclopedias. I did find some sites that discuss some of his work, but it's about our relationship with time -- the past, the present, the future -- and about consciousness. There is none of that in my work. I do see the connection to art and film, but again, I can't find anything about explaining how the apparent motion arises from film and video. Bergson I am familiar with, and have been influenced by him, but as you know, my work is born out of my meditation practice, and what I am attempting to do is to communicate an entirely different way of understanding most of what we take for granted today. I'll get a copy of one of Gebser's books though and see what he's about myself. Thanks for the reference! Warm regards.
