Contrary to how your question puts it, it could mean that the impact of the meteor — its 'cracking open' — marks the appearance of the prophetic text in the world at large, rather than it spilling out of the meteor. At present, knowledge of this text is limited, and is only slowly getting shared by small groups of people. In 2026, hopefully, it will become generally known.
