“A few things sound very new to me- prophesy out of Buddha? Never ever heard of this.”

Interesting. So yours must be a very superficial connection with Buddhism, since you never heard of the Buddha’s prophecy of the Dharma-ending time, when people will just have a very superficial understanding of his teachings.

“Prophesies are concocted only in Middle Eastern Theologies.”

Ignorance is when we lack some information. Stupidity is when we know we are ignorant about something, but we are unmoved to learn. Idiocy is when we take our ignorance of something as evidence that it is not worth knowing.

“Second notion is Brahma, Indra .. etc in Buddhist Thinking? Also never ever thought they were mixable.”

Yes, Buddha lived in India and had great compassion for all beings, including those who did not follow his teachings.

“Finally, some schemes of hell if mantras are not done… sound borrowed from extremist MAGA version of Evangelicalism.”

Well, now I’m concerned. You obviously didn’t read the article very well. I would repeat what it says, but…

“In the end, the essay left me unmoved!”

Yes, I can see that. I hope you read what I say above about not being moved to learn what one does not know.
